Review of Miller's Crossing (1990) by Rory P — 22 Feb 2010
Ranks my second favorite Coens film as I've always loved their more serious fare the best. Their take on the gangster genre is a blast, with plenty of style, snappy dialogue, intrigue and top-notch acting to go around.
I'm still struck that Gabriel Byrne never became a successful leading man, but at least he has In Treatment now.
