Review of Millennium Actress (2002) by Steve C — 31 May 2007
Art house anime at its near best. Poetic, artistic, haunting, as well as romantically tragic. Although a bit sentimental and abstract at times, you don't see too many films like this in general. This film is what "true creativity of anime" is really all about, not the American Disney stuff.
I highly recommended this movie.
