If his performance was better than Rourkes then I need to see this....
EDIT: It's definately a 4 star movie but did Sean Penn deserve to win a Best Actor Oscar over Mickey Rourkes performance in The Wrestler? I don't think so. It's probably a career best peformance but I think Rourke was robbed.
The supporting actors are great in this especially Brolin, Hirsch & Franco and I think they definately make this film along with Penn.
8/10.
