Review of Milk? (2012) by Jonathan W — 02 Feb 2014

Milk tells the tale of one of the nation's early gay activists who was later murdered. Sean Penn is excellent in this and the cast overall is really good from Josh Brolin to James Franco. I guess I was just expecting a little more from this.

I don't really feel like I learned more about Harvey Milk through the film outside of his actions, I never really felt they did much more than going through the big events of his life. Otherwise, a good movie.
