Review of Milk (2008) by Commentscomments — 23 Feb 2009
This movie gets an E for Effort, but nothing beats the original documentary from which all this stems: THE TIMES OF HARVEY MILK. MILK thought so much of it that it completely stole its structure from it, even its stock footage.
however much this movie represents a triumph to the makers for getting it made (it's been in the works since the documentary premiered twenty five years ago with Oliver Stone and Kevin Kline participating), a chimp could have done what these filmmakers did, using the documentary as a source, which it liberally did.
