Review of Miles Ahead (2016) by Bruce B — 15 Apr 2016
In an ideal world, only a black man would review this film. Because HIS voice would be credible, given Don Cheadle's magnificent and personal interpretation and portrayal of master musician Miles. The film is like its subject, with a jazz-like cadence; harmony/dissonance/fusion, genius black man succeeding in a white man's world, against the odds.
It's a masterpiece. Don't read (mostly)white male reviews of this film- they miss the mark. Go see & experience for yourself.
