This biopic of jazz legend Miles Davis is certainly a unique one and that is something to be grateful for. Sadly though the film is a bit of an unfocused mess. Set in two time periods it tries to give us a sense of the real Miles Davis.
Don Cheadle is great as the lead man but the film just doesn't succeed in truly getting into the heart of the man, It sometimes comes across as just trying to hard to be different that it forgets to actually give us a film of real substance.
