Well done though a bit long. The cast was great, a lot of times in the classic films, I get annoyed by how happy and giddy the children are, so luckily it didn't really happen in this. Joan Crawford was very good in a deserved Best Actress win.
The story was well told with a nice structure to it. But like I said, it seemed a bit long at times, some scenes dragged. However, it's still a very good movie.
