Review of Milan (2004) by Ian P — 09 Feb 2011
A romantic and drama film set in one of the most romantic place in Europe, Milan is also a retelling and reflection of OFW life because much of the movie's plot is base on the real life situations of overseas Filipino workers working in Italy.
Portrayals of lead actors Barreto and Pascual were remarkable and has a good chemistry. Even the supporting casts like Calzado acted very well that made the movie an over-all recommended flick. Though, some scenes were quite over dramatic, beautiful cinematography of Milan, well-written plot and good acting saves it making it one of the best Pinoy movie of all-time.
