You ethier need to be a kid of enjoy these types of films to really enjoy this. As a daikaiju fan, I've have come to enjoy these types but the film has a lot of silly moments and some goofy effects.
The characters are rather silly, but the ending isn't too bad and it has some nice fun moments and fights.
