Review of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (1995) by Robert T — 05 Jan 2008

Another television franchise turned into a full-length movie! I used to be a huge fan of this franchise as a kid, and I remembered this film when it came out in theaters. Though I have to agree with most of the reviewers, the film is lame now, but thirteen-years ago, this film was hip! I was surprised the film incorporated CGI animation during the last battle scene, unlike the television show.

It was weird that they had to let go a few of the characters, and introduced new members to the Power Rangers in the film, but that didn't derailed the film at all. And yes, the film had the same villains from the television show, plus a new villain, which was a little awkward, but then again, this is the Power Rangers.
