Review of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (1995) by Jon T — 25 Jun 2013
Even the sequels to 1990's TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES (mediocre as they are) are far more watchable than this abysmal feature length debut of another super popular toy franchise turned TV series.
The titular heroes are little more than just pretty faces with no real personality, and the storyline is really just an excuse for violence, action, and cheesiness. Paul Freeman overacts as the film's needlessly hammy villain.
Noisy, unimaginative, and headache inducing, this low rent flick is for fans only. Anybody else should steer clear.
