More broing than a six hour lecture on Hinges ,this war film re uses footage from the much better Tora Tora Tora , takes a great cast and a key World War Two Battle and lands in your lap with a big boring thud.
When a film wastes two good actors in the shape of Robert Mitchum and James Coburn you know your in big big trouble.
Its doesnt help that the script is full of naff dialogue and the footage from the actual event and the other films is so obvoius you really start to lose you will to live while watching it.
A boring epic with a cast trapped in aspic, avoid.
