Review of Midsommar (2019) by Carson733 — 05 Apr 2020

Two and a half hours of my life I will never be getting back. Calling this a bad film would be an understatement...actually, calling it the worst film of all time would STILL be an understatement. The character development is non-existent and the entire movie is dragged out from what could realistically be a 30-45 minute short film.

There was no big plot twist ending and there were no surprises. You’d know just as much from watching the trailer as someone who watched the entire movie. There is an extremely long sex orgy scene that has no relevance to the actual plot of the film.

Ari Aster is a horny middle-aged geek who should be serving burgers or living in a tent rather than making movies. This is the only review I have ever written and I felt it was absolutely necessary in hopes that I am able to warn others before it is too late.

This film was nothing but a disappointment and I am certain that i’ve lost a multitude of brain cells and possibly gained a chromosome from watching it.
