Folks - look at the USER reviews. It's pretty much a divided crowd -- you will either love this movie or hate it. For me, the movie should have been categorized as "Absurdity, Pretentiousness, Gore" there is very little suspense or thrills.
Basically it's an overbloated film where the director is in love with himself and every shot and scene. You sit through basically 2 hrs of NOTHINGNESS until things turn to horror and absurdity. Imagine going to a movie that was about a wedding and in the movie EVERY BORING DETAIL was presented i.
E., the cake cutting, every dance, every speech, every boring bit of the ritual. THAT'S WHERE the 2 hr 25mins comes from!!!! This is NOT a horror movie until the last 30mins. My advice read the synopsis and then just sneak in and watch the last 30mins of the flick.
You missed NOTHING.
