Midnite Spares is a fun and entertaining Exploitation film from Australia. The film successfully combines thrilling car races with a good dose of comedy and some decent performances to makes this a fun two hours for the viewer.

Although the film could have been better, it's a well made feature that is exciting from start to finish. This is a well crafted movie that overcomes its flaws by delivering some well executed action sequences, which are the film's high point.

However at times the story does fall a little flat, you'd wish there be as more thought out, well layered storyline to the film. Nonetheless if you enjoy low budget action flicks, give Midnight Spares a view.

This isn't the best film to come out of Australia; however it's not the worst either. The story, like I said is pretty standard stuff, and it is a familiar, almost clichéd premise. Yet, it's exciting and exhilarating throughout, and you end up not caring as you watch the film.

Midnite Spares is an imperfect picture, but the fun of its content cannot be dismissed. If you love these types of films, you're going to have a blast. I found the film to be a very good one and it definitely has that Cult movie feel to it.

This one would definitely appeal to midnight movie fans and it is a movie that manages to go above its flaws and be a worthwhile picture to watch. I heavily recommend this one to anyone looking for an effective piece of cult cinema.
