Midnight Special captures the magic of 80's sci-fi, with soulful performance, taut tension, and developed characters. More is said with a concerned look than conversations, with a very gritty real world like tension that makes it all seem believable.
The cast is great, even the lesser unknowns, so it makes for a very compelling and entertaining sci-fi- offering.
