Review of Midnight Run (1988) by Isaac B — 22 Aug 2007
I never get tired of watching this underrated film that was a box office success. A great action comedy that is sort of a "buddy" movie (possibly riding off the tails of 'Lethal Weapon') and most definitely a road movie.
Such a shame that Brest has fallen so far from grace. This film is the epitome of action comedies in the 1980's before CGI and lame gags took over, and script/dialogue actually counted for something.
A must see.
