Suspends belief but this action-comedy is way above average starting with the casting of De Niro, the appointing of Brest as director and the comedic and action elements it blends along the way. De Niro is the ex-cop turned bounty hunter who is charge of transporting Charles Grodin from New York to Los Angeles while having to evade the Mob and the Feds along the way who each have their own reasons for putting the collar on the quack.
Good cast of well-knowns add to the enjoyment had here in this great example of the genre.
