Review of Midnight Run (1988) by Arthur W — 06 Jan 2008
I was introduced to this film as a cult classic among writers, due to the distinct voices given to each character. What I didn't expect was a classic old-fashioned buddy movie rivaling Planes, Trains and Automobiles.
It's nothing you haven't seen before, but it's more than the sum of its parts, and it's a riot in the right mood.
