Review of Midnight Run (1988) by Will E — 29 Apr 2012
I've always felt this movie was an underrated one in the DeNiro canon; I've liked it more and more as I've seen it over the years. The chemistry between DeNiro and Grodin is phenomenal, and all the supporting characters/actors are great: Yaphet Kotto, Joe Pantaliano, John Ashton.
A smart, fun '80s action-comedy that's really not so dated; I compare it to the first two LETHAL WEAPON movies. Give it a chance.
