Review of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (1997) by Trevor L — 30 Dec 2007
A very different murder mystery, where the straight man is a New York playing against an entire gallery of bizarre southerners. At first viewing, it would seem that the movie is disjointed: it starts off as a slight comedy while evolving into a somewhat heavier drama.
Still, Cusak and Spacey are great actors; so at the end of the movie I was still pleased by their performances even if the movie was a tad confusing.
