Review of Midnight Express (1978) by Jennett S — 21 Jan 2008
All fact-based films take poetic license to as far extreme as possible. In this case, I think it reinforces the severity of the life of this young man while in the Turkish prison. Probably one of Oliver Stone's greatest film achievements.
Makes one think twice before attempting something as foolish as drug smuggling.
