The best movie I've seen of director Alan Parker. My father kept telling me that "Midnight Express" is a great movie. The first time I saw it, he was right. A terrific screenplay from Oliver Stone, highly intense and great storytelling.
You want action, drama, or romance, this is the film to experience that.
