Review of Midnight Express (1978) by Filmgrinder S — 05 Feb 2012

Great acting, music, and dramatic tension. Not 5 stars because I wanted it to be closer to the truth, to the real events, to the book. Of course it's a movie, so it's normal to be exaggerations but those lead the movie to be criticized for racism. The many brutal scenes that presented were just fiction.

Anyway, this movie was great to watch but would be ignorant to believe. However, the film is still excellent and is strongly recommended viewing.
