5 stars - I laughed at times, I wanted to cry at times, but I mostly felt sorrow throughout the movie. btw, dustin hoffman played his character brilliantly..i remember thinking to myself that no one could have played the part better.
he was quite attractive in his youth, too. I was smitten. ;p.
