Review of Midnight Cowboy (1969) by Sunnie D — 15 Dec 2008
This movie is a brilliant mind trip. Hoffman and Voight are an amazing onscreen duo in this movie. the directing and editing make this movie so mesmerizing to watch that you can't capture everything in one watch, it has to be watched over and over again.
hoffman with the bronx accent was really fun to watch although he did slip once or twice in the movie. I love the way the movie paints new york as this cold city yet its also the city where so many dear to dream.
this movie is absolutely incredible. this is a film that has already transcended time and will continue to do so because of its originality.
