Review of Midnight Cowboy (1969) by Adam C — 04 Sep 2009
This might possibly be the best movie of the 1960s? It has a gritty realism that life sucks, despite the idealism of Jon Voight's gigalo character. Dustin Hoffman delivers a great performance as a villain -- something he doesn't often do -- and he's not very likable.
.. compared to his previous "big" role as Benjamin Braddock in "The Graduate.".
