Review of Midnight Cowboy (1969) by Kevin G — 21 Sep 2009
Great acting from Jon Voight and Dustin Hoffman. Voight's innocent and overly earnest Southern character must learn the true meaning of getting by in the big city, the hard way. Hoffman's Ratso Rizzo is truly a slimeball, but you can't help feeling sympathy for him.
Overall, a good film that relies heavily on it's performances and they deliver.
