Review of Midnight Cowboy (1969) by Dylan V — 07 Nov 2011
Midnight Cowboy is one of my favorite films... by far! The film gives a raw emotional impact. Its not just any story, its about life. Its the crazy things we do for money, its about friendship (a very unlikely one).
Its dark and sad, but the message it sends is indescribable. Dustin Hoffman's character ''Ratzo Rizzo'' is made for him as with Jon Voight as Joe Buck. These are two of the best performances I've ever seen and they are in the same film.
You are engrossed with the two characters and the way they cope with things. What you experienced in this movie is nothing like any other film. Its very unique and an instant classic for the ages.
