Review of Micmacs (2009) by Mikael F — 02 Jul 2010
Jenuet has, again, made an absolutely outstanding movie. The story about a young man named Bazil is just as weird and wonderful as everyday life but with a deep humorous element of burlesque, humanity and a statement about the armaments industry. The sound design and original music is fantastic. Especially the music, composed by Raphaël Beau, has a number of tracks with an interesting set of mechanistic percussion sounds.
This is film is a must-see for all.
