Review of Micmacs (2009) by David C — 10 Mar 2011
Being a big fan of Amelie I had high hopes for this and was a little disappointed. True it was quirky, clever and had some nice moments that reminded me why I liked Amelie to much but I found it a little too offbeat in places and they were frequent enough to drag my enjoyment down.
Maybe it was just a little too French for me I'm not sure. If you do watch it be sure to catch the in-film posters advertising the film, it is little sparks like that which move this film from too odd to watchable.
