Review of Michael Clayton (2007) by Mark P — 22 Jun 2010
The script is razor-sharp and the acting is outstanding. True Clooney pulls one facial expression for the duration of the movie but he does it so darned well. Watch out for a standout performance from the mercurial Howard Wilkinson that will make your spine tingle.
Though it has the grey metallic sheen of a dull corporate thriller 'Michael Clayton' is something far better. A very intelligent and thought-provoking film, hats-off to Tony Gilroy.
