How this got a Best Picture nomination is beyond me. How Clooney got a nomination for Best Actor with his work in this film is beyond me. This was a bad movie. The story fails to draw you in, let alone keep you interested.
I felt like it was stuck between being a poorly down legal thriller (think bad John Grisham knock off) and one man's search for redemption. Once again, this received 7 Oscar nominations? Tilda Swinton really wasn't outstanding and the score was non existent.
All right, I'll admit Wilkinson deserved a nomination.
