Review of Michael Clayton (2007) by Sonia G — 18 Dec 2010
Smart, well acted little film, has a slow build, but a mighty final punch. Lots to say about corporate crimes and the moral ambiguity of their legal defenders. Clooney gives an academy worthy performance as does Tilda Swinton, but Tom Wilkinson as the corporate attorney with a nervous breakdown steals most of the scenes he's in.
Highly recommended, and worth viewing again in the current economic climate.
