Review of Michael Clayton (2007) by Stewart F — 30 Jun 2011
A sound slow-burning thriller, thankfully devoid of mindless chases and with only one (minor) explosion. It is a thoughtful, somewhat unhurried story of a cynical, pessimistic world. The suspense is less in who's doing what, but in how Clooney is going to "solve" his many life, job and family problems.
Clooney is very watchable, and Tom Wilkinson is excellent, as always.
