Review of Michael Clayton (2007) by Daniel T — 12 Feb 2012
One of the best films I have seen in the last five years. George Clooney was excellent as Michael Clayton but it was Tom Wilkinson who stole every scene as the "crazy" Arthur Edens. Tilda Swinton was very good as the tough and pragmatic Karen Crowder but I do not think she deserved an Academy Award win for Best Supporting Actress over Saoirse Ronan for her role in the Atonement.
Still, excellent cast and wonderful directing by Tony Gilroy. Perhaps one of the best legal dramas I have ever seen with one of the best endings ever.
