Review of Michael Clayton (2007) by Nathan N — 29 Sep 2012
From the screenwriter of the Bourne series comes the psychological thriller Michael Clayton. Entrusted with one of the most delicate jobs at the law firm of Kenner, Bach, & Ledeen; Michael Clayton the in-house fixer is in charge of cleaning up messes for the firm and it's clients.
Called upon once again to pick up the pieces after Arthur Edens( Tom Wilkinson) one of the firms top litigator's is arrested at a deposition. Stuck between Arthur's mental breakdown and personal problems, Michael soon comes to realize that things aren't what they seem.
George Clooney turns in one of the best performances of the year as former litigator turned "janitor". A gripping thriller that carries you right through the final frame.
