Review of Michael Clayton (2007) by Gunter V — 28 Feb 2011
The perfect case of style amplifying substance. The dialogue is phenomenally written and just about every beat hits its rhythmic mark. It doesn't hurt that Tom Wilkinson is my favorite actor in my favorite role and delivers my favorite monologue.
I'll admit its hard to grasp at first and I'll chalk that up as one of the movie's faults, but it's enthralling and I always appreciate a movie that asks the audience to enjoy actively.
