Criminally underrated gem featuring Alec Baldwin's best performance bar none and ace supporting turns from Fred Ward, Jennifer Jason Leigh and late, great Paul Gleason. It's hard to characterise Miami Blues - it's ostensibly a mix of crime thriller and black comedy.
Think 'Into the Night' mixed with 'Something Wild' and you'll get a good idea of the tone of the movie. The best thing about it though is it's so damn funny! 'He took your gun.
..your badge *and* your teeth? You are a disgrace to the Police Force'. Definitely a must see.
