Review of Metallica: Through the Never (2013) by Geoff B — 13 Aug 2014
Don't get me wrong, I like Metallica. Love their contributions to the development of Thrash Metal. I'm also an enthusiast of movies. Well done, well thought out, great story, effects that match the story line.
All of this justifies the money, time and effort it takes to make a movie. And then you have people willing to use a large chunk of cash to to roll the dice and just make something you HOPE people will like and pay money to see.
I am quite grateful to have seen this in Netflix, because had I seen this in a theater, I would have been pissed that I had paid. This is one cinematic turd that should not have been made. They should have done the right thing and taken the money they used to make this, and help the community, feed the homeless, clothe kids.
I would have given them 5 stars for that act.
