Review of Metallica: Some Kind of Monster (2004) by Tommi A — 24 Feb 2008
I thought it was brave how the band showed a more fragile side of themselves in this film. It's easy to forget that behind this very macho music type lies real people with a wide range of emotions: not just hate, but also fear, love and envy.
Enlighting. It would have been nice if the movie had contained more footage of Dave Mustane. Lars Ulrichs dad seems like quite the viking sourcerer!
