Review of Metallica: Some Kind of Monster (2004) by Justin S — 31 Jul 2009
It's hard to come away from 'Some Kind of Monster' without having a new respect for the guys from Metallica. In not only working with a therapist to resolve some long-standing, deep-seated issues between members, but also allowing a film crew to document the whole process, they transcend the bullshit machismo that characterizes the stereotypical rock stars.
Like them or not, these guys have been true to themselves every step of the way in their long careers, and that's commendable.
