Review of Metal: A Headbanger's Journey (2005) by Rico G — 18 Feb 2008
My favorite movie of 2005 -- its both an entertaining documentary and a peek inside the mind of the Canadian anthropologist/metalhead who made the film. Ostensibly a semi-scholarly work, it's really all an excuse for this dude to meet his rock heroes; and more power to him.
Worth a viewing just to hear Ronnie James Dio rag on Gene Simmons.
