Review of Metal: A Headbanger's Journey (2005) by Ankur D — 02 Feb 2012
A great documentary for the biggest fan or the newbie or the one who has no clue about anything that is metal.
Sam Dunn and Scott Macfayden, two metal heads, go deep into the sub-culture and show the audience the intelligence and the fun that both the musicians and fans get to experience.
Going to the root days of metal, interviewing everyone from Tony Iommi to fans that consider themselves ultimate-metal heads.
They say documentaries are boring and dull to a certain mark, not this one. The movie starts out fast and ends fast and never bores the audience one bit.
