Review of Messiah of Evil (1975) by Heather L — 02 Jun 2008
Despite the near complete lack of any realistic visuals, this movie is surprisingly tense. Playing with family relationships is always helpful and helps create a high level of emotional attachment to the outcome, which you know is not going to be good! I'm must agree that this movie is absolutely underrated and unfortunately overlooked.
The actual quality of the film leaves much to be desired, but that is to be expected, given the release formats.
