Part two then. It is one film really but it seems movie studios don't dare release a four hour film on it's own these days, they have to cater to more and more people with short attention spans.

Anyhoo, 70's this time, Mesrine, paunchy with numerous amusing hairstyles. Vincent Cassel has by now become this horrible thug and his performance is really rather remarkable. Oodles of bravado, swagger and law baiting. Another prison break out and more on-the-lam action. He's a totally unlikeable character but Cassel makes him very compelling.
