The weaker half of this sprawling crime epic concentrates on Mesrine (pronounce it Mey-Reen) in his gradual descent into being a bloated shell rather than the active and charismatic criminal he used to be.
A couple more exciting shoot outs and jail breaks but the second half is weaker than the first. The conclusion is muddy and doesnt quite make sense....
