Review of Mercury Rising (1998) by Paul C — 28 Nov 2008
A strong first half gives way to a rather odd secong half. It seems as if the whole story is wrapped up very quickly. There are definately certain areas this movie should have explored more. Such as Willis understanding more about autism, making it more than a gimmick, and the exploration of the moral arguement of killing the boy for 'the greater good' (the greater good), offer some insight to why Alec Baldwin wood do this.
Willis gives a strong performance. And John Barry's score is great.
