The heir apparent to Ong Bak, this is not. Fight scenes are too few and far between, and when they do happen they are not nearly visceral enough. Wire work and CGI mar the film at points, and the story is as trite as can be expected from these types of films.
Seek action elsewhere, ie Ong Bak, The Protector, Chocolate, Ip Man or even Kung Fu Hustle is you're ok with wire work and CGI.
